Virtual therapy is online counseling that is offered in a HIPAA compliant platform to assist in unblocking barriers folks might have in reaching services in person. Montana is so spread out that some areas lack nearby services. It is unreasonable to assume that all Montanans can access routine therapy appointments. Virtual therapy, also referred to as Telehealth, can help people with physical limitations, parents without available childcare, or other issues which interfere with being able to attend therapy in person.
